My Coastal Art images are marketed widely through a licensing agreement with Sundance Graphics of Orlando, FL that places my work in home decor and furniture stores across the southern states. They are affordable original takes on the coastal region that accent homes with the serene moods of its personality and charm. A Flamingo with attitude, ladies skirting the surf, or a calming beach scene; there is something to excite most tastes in the art. Originals are available on request.
“Paint Me A Pillow” is the natural issue of the design symmetry that shapes home décor. These exquisite fabric and hand-painted pillows make a design statement wherever placed. You will love the quality and presence of these unusual “dress-ups.” You can find them in stores around Sarasota and Bonita Springs, on Etsy.com, and here, just contact me to purchase for your home. Suggest a theme or subject and I’ll try to make it come to life on these luxurious pillows.
Fine Art is the master’s yearning in all artists—on canvas, paper, piano, and the media of all landscapes. It is the deepest sense of what must eventually find the light, the most honest manifestation of the glory in artistic endeavor. It might not be “you,” but the “me” in it will touch you—a twice blessing for the artist. It is the art that takes hold of my brush as though moved of spirit. I can’t tell what it will bring, but it is an artist’s compulsion and joy to follow it.
It is best to take small bites of art and spend time on each piece. Imagine it in its place in your home and how it relates to you and your surroundings. When you hear the voice that created them you will have found what you are looking for. Pause there to consider next steps. I am always happy to talk about my art, so write or call to give background to your selections. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, ask: the receiver is always as creative as the giver of art.

and moods I paint. Pets too, because I love them. Custom requests are welcome. And, I love to paint large canvases. If you are littoral friendly, you will quickly
find your heart among my paintings of coastal scenes and wildlife.
Now retired to the beautiful Sarasota Gulf Coast I am constantly inspired by unimaginable beauty each day. Whether the inspiration comes from a magnificent sunset with a sky so full of color, a bright sunny day that warms both your body and your soul or a comic pelican as he dives mouth wide for his diner.
I am at my best when I have a paint brush in hand and extend that joy to the canvas. I hope that you enjoy my work and in some way it shares that same joy to you that it gives me.
My work includes fine art, coastal wall art, and designs painted on fabric sewn into home decor pillows. And, importantly, it’s affordable. I worked my entire life to build a future, so I know how precious is the money we earn. Art is for pleasure; it should not stretch your wallet. Simple, affordable pleasures are my model.
Sometimes the shortest distance between two points is a walk around the block. Many return to an earlier passion after a hiatus of some kind.
Raising a family, business ventures and life was the demur that put painting on hold. Today, I cannot imagine a day without painting.
